2014 PROJECTS
Project |01 Knight-Light
Role(s): Writer; Voice Actor
A game created for Global Game Jam 2014. It was created around the theme, “We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are”.
Knight-Light is about Ser-Teddalot, the teddy bear armed with a flashlight who protects his child from the shadowy monsters of the night. The game features a mechanic where, when the player shines the flashlight on a monster, the monster reverts back to what it ‘really’ is – such as a treasure box with teeth reverting to an ordinary box.
The final version included a playable trial version that allowed players to use the flashlight mechanic and an introductory cutscene. Due to technological and time constraints, however, the cutscene was distributed outside the actual game (see video gallery for cutscene).
Project |02 Dragon Age: Inquisition
Role(s): QA Tester
A game released by BioWare in 2014. It is the third game in the Dragon Age series and it has garnered several awards, sales, and positive reviews.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is about the Inquisitor, who rises to power to restore order in the world. The game included a huge open-world, an extensive battle system, and character and narrative mechanics.
Worked as a QA for the game between April 2014 and August 2014. I chiefly worked on testing the "crit path" part of the game, where I would regularly run through the main path of the game on PC and PS3.
